Xenia is an independent producer based between Dorset and London.
In 2017 Xenia won the John Brabourne Award from the Film and Television Charity to fund the development of her slate of films. She was also selected for Encounter's Widening The Lens filmmaker mentorship scheme by the BFI and Creative Skillset, from which she received mentorship from Nicky Bentham at Neon Films. Xenia also launched SHORT CUTS, a development scheme with a £1,000 film fund, which she continues to produce for Shooting People - the independent filmmakers network. In 2018 Xenia was awarded the Last Word Film Fund by the Ex-Animo Foundation to produce PORCELAIN, a short experimental film about the pursuit of 'whiteness' in South East Asia. This fund is in run collaboration with Roundhouse's filmmaker mentorship programme, from which Xenia received mentorship from MisFits Entertainment where she now works as assistant to the producers Ian Bonhôte and Andee Ryder. Xenia was also recently selected for BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew, a talent development programme for filmmakers who are working towards their debut feature.
